Just so everyone knows I decided to add the Google Adsense stuff to the website to help pay for things. The amount of downloads is beginning to kill my bandwidth and indeed is making the website / server slow down.

For example you may have noticed the other day the server went down for a few hours, basicaly the server got highly confused and cascaded itself and turned all the services off. It wont do that again because I fixed that minor problem however heavy use is still an issue, if enough money is earnt from the adverts I will save it all up and buy another server dedicated to this website...

Have fun, dont know if you will find any of the adverts interesting but there you go.

07/04/2004 - PlayMyth 1.5 Beta Release

As you may know the latest patch has been released and from what I can see it is far superior to the PlayMyth 1.4.3 and 1.4.4 patches, the patch is not backward compatible however so games will appear red if you have a different version. You can swap between versions fairly easily also so its worth downloading it to see if it improves your gameplay.

New features include inventorys and OpenGL fixes making the game better for Mac and PC users. Hopefully they will make a linux version of the final patch also but I dont know if they are even thinking about that.

02/24/2004 - Site Redesign

Got bored and seens the new website was on the cards for so long I decided to do something about it. The new site is written in PHP so there is a lot more we can do with it should the need arise. BTW dont worry fear when you download the new version you will see its all very self explanatory :)

If anyone wants to know anything or thinks certain sections of the site should be changed then please tell me.

Wow. Heh. So how many stopped reading the front page? I figured it's time for an update. As most know by now, M K T has started. We've accomplished 4 maps with good turnouts each time. Thanks to all who have participated.

Please visit out forums, and it's not much to be asking of, but please, register an account. It makes it so much easier.

Hmm, not much else to say, so have fun and play myth.

Fixed the members page to include an up to date roster of all the members. Please send in your bios(click on my name by posted by for email address) and include your real name, login, name you use on myth, favorite maps, connection speed, and any pics you have. I will be updateing the bios I have on me very shortly(shaman, vel) Some people still had old bios saved(qbrick, tiger, me, swampster), so no need to remail unless you have updated bios(heh, like swampster would email me an updated bio).

Visitors - Please read the news and the General Forum Info section of the forum. Swampster needs help getting a downloads section going like the mill was(or similar), and it also lists the rules of the forums. I have added a short term download section(updated) to include 3 Project Magma maps(all linked back to magma) and 4 WWII maps(Recon, Combat, Bloodshed, Winter Recon).

I'm a complete tosser I know and basically everyone has to sign up to the forums again because I lose the database and had to reinstall this server.

I lost about 17 sites during this so if anyone laughs at me I will kill them right now cos im in a bad mood..!

09/12/2003 - Map Downloads

There is going to be a map download section on this website and so basically I need some help in getting it up. The general idea is that it will replace the Mill as it has gone offlline so if anyone can help me code the new section of the site it would be appreciated. It is going to be in PHP and MySql so if you don't know anything about either of those thing's then dont ask :-)
